General law of cause and effect

Principle is general law of cause and effect. Is it possible to explain principle ? Yes, it is possible if it is about an individual, planet, sun or stars etc. Here, psychology is concerned with the principle of an individual organism not with the anatomical structure but with the general law of cause and effect of physical, mental, and spiritual nature of a human being.

All these segments of an individual organism function separately but simultaneously in a time. One can focus one’s attention at one point in a time.

The principle of causality

The concept of causality, determinism. All certainty in our relationships with the world rests on acknowledgement of causality. Causality is a genetic connection of phenomena through which one thing (the cause) under certain conditions gives rise to, causes something else (the effect). The essence of causality is in the generation and determination of one phenomenon by another. In this respect causality differs from various other kinds of connection, for example, the simple temporal sequence of phenomena, of the regularities of accompanying processes. For example, a pinprick causes pain. Brain damage causes mental illness. Causality is an active relationship, a relationship which brings to life something new, which turns possibility into actuality. A cause is an active and primary thing in relation to the effect.

Whenever we seek to retrace the steps of cause and effect and find the first cause, it disappears into the infinite distances of universal interaction. From-

Causality ( also referred to as causation, or cause and effect) is what connects one process (the cause) with another process or state (the effect), where the first is partly responsible for the second, and the second is partly dependent on the first. In general, a process has many causes, which are said to be causal factors for it, and all lie in its past. An effect can in turn be a cause of , or causal factor for, many other effects, which all lie in its future. From Wikipedia.

Causality: a causal quality or agency. The relation between a cause and its effect or between regularly correlated events or phenomena. From:

Physical Nature

Although one cannot fully understand the processes involved, it is apparent that digestive, circulatory, and other physiological functions give rise to maintain the body’s physiological equilibrium and integration. According to Coleman,”In the mechanisms for ensuring normal blood chemistry, for maintaining constant body temperature, and for combating invading microorganisms, we see this continuous endeavor of the body to preserve steady states-to maintain physiological variables within a range essential to survival-an endeavor generally referred to as homeostasis. Prolonged or severe disruption of steady states-either due to deprivation or to excess of our basic needs-can threaten our survival, and, at the very least, leave us vulnerable to other stresses.”

Physical nature: Relating to the body as opposed to the mind; tangible or concrete that means the physical world. It is known by a medical examination to determine a person’s bodily fitness. It does mean things relating to nature. If one becomes aggressive or violent it is the things physical. (From Oxford Dictionary).

Concerned or preoccupied with the body and its needs for instance are sportsperson, bodybuilder, and others. Having material existence; perceptible especially through the senses and subject to the laws of nature. Corporeal: a more poetic and philosophical word than bodily, refers especially to the mortal substance of which the human body is composed as opposed to spirit. (From Merriam Webster).

Mental nature</

It is to be noted that each and every quality as stated above has many synonyms in the same way. Whenever, the need is felt to search for the synonyms, one is free to do that job for the sake of knowledge or practical things.

Mental nature as a matter of fact requires virtues. Virtue is (any particular kind of) goodness or excellence. If not possible more than one it is enough but the individual is to work hard to get the goodness or excellence of that virtue.

One is to remain aware of things that also included in mental nature because of its qualities and characteristics. There are many things of such types e.g. instinct and emotion and that may pave the way for problems or entangle in the desert of such miserable conditions the way out from these seems impossible.

Nature is the innate or inherited characteristics of an individual. The qualities of an individual that make up one’s personality and temperament. Thus, it is sometimes said of an individual,”That is his/her nature.”

Spiritual nature

Spiritual, of the spirit or soul; of religion, not of material things, nature is concerned about one`s spiritual welfare. Spirit is soul ; immaterial, intellectual or moral part of an individual. The soul thought of as separate from the body, is person regarded as the pattern or personification of some virtue or quality. It may be life and consciousness not associated with a body but behavior. Spirit is person considered from the intellectual, moral or emotional point of view. It is quality of courage, vigor, liveliness. Besides, it is mental or moral attitude. Spirit is real meaning or purpose underlying a law etc. (contrasted with the apparent meaning of the words etc.) State of mind (as being happy, hopeful, etc. or the opposite) is also called spirit. It is, further, used as in high spirits, cheerful; in poor/low spirits, out of spirits, depressed, unhappy. It is, furthermore, influence or tendency that rouses or causes development

Spiritual nature enables an individual to adapt goodness instead of badness.
