Life beyond relaxation

Life beyond relaxation is an experience that enriches the mind with knowledge of certain things never happened before or with hard earned states. It occurs not only because relaxation of muscles is a recreation, refreshment of body and mind, but it causes or allows becoming less tight; stiff; strict; rigid; or tense. It is a kind of hypnotherapy to remove or make extinct those things, after several interpretations, from mental faculties that pave the way for stress, strain, or tension, besides the abnormality. Instead of subjective approaches of introspection and speculation, relaxation therapy enables an individual to adapt to know objective facts and to take inferences in accordance with the conscientious aspects; ethos of the society; or rules of the establishment. Sincerity or genuineness is must in one’s concrete proposals, evidence, or proof. The benefits of the practice of life beyond relaxation are felt only after one is in earnest.                The use of hypnosis in therapy might have been in practice in abcient time as its description is found in various texts. Since the time of Mesmer there have been periodic fluctuations in the popularity of hypnosis in psychotherapy. There are differing viewpoints concerning the exact nature of hypnotic phenomena. It is defined as an altered state of consciousness involving extreme suggestibility. Hpnotic induction procedure gives rise to heightened state of selective attention and tunes out irrelevant stimuli. The individual concentrates solely on the hypnotist’s suggestions. The mysteries of the subconscious mind may be unraveled in a separate article. Some of its therapeutic uses are as under:                1.Recall of buried memories. Traumatic experiences that have been repressed in the unconscious are brought into surface consciousness. Fear; fixed or false idea; shock; or suspicion may be removed under hypnosis. Post traumatic stress disorder ( Ptsd ) may be the recall of buried memories autonomously.The principle of extinction is most effective.                                                 2. Age regression.It is to be of utmost importance. Reliving in the age of the onset of problem may desensitize the subject to it.                3. Dream induction. Dreams may be induced through hypnosis. These can be used to explore intrapsychic conflicts.                           4. Posthypnotic suggestion. It is most widely used in psychotherapy. Posthypnotic suggestion is made during the hypnotic state for those behaviours carried out later in a normal state of mind.                           Relaxation therapy                                     or                                                                Self-hypnosis                                            Take an easy chair or lie down straight on a bed. One can select a point parallel to one’s eye-sight. Concentrate on that point without flickering your eyes. When tears begin or eyebrows become heavy, close your eyes. Now, look into your mind and concentrate on both the feet mentally, relax both the feet. Again, bring into your mind the position of your ankles and lower legs, you have to relax both the legs as per your need. Simultaneously, you have to give instructions to yourself subvocally. Then look at both the knees, thighs, and hips. Relax the same respectively. In the same way, look at your back in your imagination, both the shoulders, and arms. Relax the muscles. Look at your neck and chin. The jaws must not be clenched. Now, take notice of your respiration. Take five long-deep breath, inhale and exhale. Towards the end of the relaxation therapy, now, concentrate both the eyes at a point in between the eyebrows. This is your mind. Look into it as an observer, the positive or negative thought is coming one after the other and another.In an array of thought you are engulfed in a desert of thought processes. Stop these immediately, relax your mind. There may be an attempt to bring into mind the confusion, complex, or conflict, besides, two opposite, contradictory or contrasting positions on which you want to work for some time in minutes or hours (decide).
